CD ROM or Floppy drive will not connect to Virtual Machine

Hello,

I have a HP DL560 G3 with Windows 2003 Standard server and GSX installed.  I can successfully create a new Virtual Machine but when I try to start the VM it will not connect the Floppy or the CD Rom drive.  When I check the host both the floppy and CD rom are working ok.  The CD and floppy disks that I'm using are definitely bootable as I have another server ( Dell PowerEdge) that works fine.

Any ideas why this may be happening?
