Error starting Registration Service

Hi

I uninstalled RC2 and installed 1.0 on a Pentium D, 2Gb RAM, 2X160 Gb hd, Windows 2000 Server All patches.

Now the Registration Service doesn't start anymore, Error 1053 and a message like "the service did not respond in a timely manner to a start request" (translated from my language).

The message comes up IMMEDIATELY after trying to start the service.

Obviously now I cannot run VmWare Server 1.0.

Any ideas?
