USB and Active Sync

Has anyone tried this on an XP guest?

I'm thinking about creating an XP guest with MS Office and Outlook on it and MS Active Sync for a PDA (Sprint PPC-6700) and synching from the Guest OS.

If you had any problems, what were they and how did you resolve them.
