Windows XP terrible slow as a guest

Hi all,

I have setup a Windows XP guest on a debian host using vmware server 1.0.1. All works ok, except viedo acceleration. Windows is terribly sloow open menus, checkboxes, etc ... Somebody knows what can it happen?? (VMware tools are installed).

I have other linux guests using gnome desktop under this host without problems ...
