VMware Remote Console isn't working

Hello there,

First I wanna say, that my english is not the best \*g*

I've a problem wir our GSX Server 2.5 based on a

Gentoo 1.4 Linux OS. For easier administration i thought it's bette when i'll use the VMware Remote Console feature.

I have configured the whole VMware Instance with

vmware-config.pl. In this script i also configured the 902 Port for Remote Console.

Now ... when I wanna connect to am Virtual Maschine with Remote Console installed on winXP i get an Report, that the vmware-authd deamon is not running.

So I started the deamon manually ... and I got these message:

server root # vmware-authd

599 vmware-authd PANIC: getpeername failed: Socket operation on non-socket[/i]

Is there anybody who has the same problem or who can help me with my problem??
