VM keeps getting kicked out of the domain

I am running a VM setup for software build automation.  I setup each VM as an independent Windows 2000 Advanced Server build machine (all cloned from a common snapshot and renamed using sysprep).  I currently have 4 VMs setup on a Dell 2850 server.  Each VM is configured to revert to its snapshot when powered down.  Each snapshot is individually configured with a unique computer name and is joined to the windows 2000 domain.  The VM Host is also joined to the same domain.  The guests are all using bridged neworking, so they appear as independent machines on the network.

Since each build that I run is 1 hour or less, the VMs are getting started and reverted pretty frequently.  This has been working fine for a while but one of them has developed a problem.  Occaisionally when I restart it it fails to join the domain and the error message (when you try to manually login) is "The system cannot log you into this domain because the system's computer account in its primary domain is missing or the password on that account is incorrect."  Once it gets into this state its stuck and rebooting doesn't fix it.  I had to get a domain administrator (not me) to drop it and readd it to the domain.  Then later the error came up again.  What could be causing this?  Whenever I clone a VM I always make it create a new UUID.
