Physical disk share issue between host and guest

Hello,

Host: Windows Server 2003 SP1 with VMware Server 1 (28343)

Guest: Windows XP Pro SP2

I share one of my physical disks on my host to the guest as entire disk (I tried too with just the partition in NTFS) and when I copy a file from the host, the guest cannot see it and same for the reverse...

But a service running as local account on the guest create files on the shared disk and the host can see and access it.

I don't understand where i made a mistake.

If anybody has an idea or can help, thanks by advance
