Command Line Revert

Hi,

I have a set of VMs which I'd like to be able to reset via a script. I was unable to find a simple revert to snapshot command that could do this, but I know you can set your machine to revert on shutdown and you can shutdown from the command line.

I was thinking something like..

setconfig undopoint.action "autoRevert"

stop

setconfig undopoint.action "keep"

start

However after I start the machine again the config file (.vmx) switches back to autoRevert despite changing it to keep. Any suggestions?

EDIT/i: I've also read about snapshot.action, now I'm getting confused..
