Keyboard not being release

I've just installed VMWare Server 1.0.1 on Windows 2003. I have a Windows XP guest originally built in VMWare Workstation 5.5.

I can't release the keyboard. If I press Ctrl+Alt to release the keyboard, any keystrokes are still sent to the VM.

I have to click outside the VMWare window to get the keyboard back to the host.

Is this a known problem?

Am I missing something obvious?
