Hi,
Whenever I power-on a virtual machine and try clicking on it, VMware displays an error saying it could not grab the input device.
It displays this error message:
Failed to create DirectInput object: HRESULT (0x80004005: sev 1 fac 0 code 16389): Unknown error 16389 (0x4005). Could not grab input.
This error message would only show up when I am running the guest machine in user mode. Changing the guest machine's VM account from user mode to use local system account would eliminate this error.
Any ideas why this happens?
I'm using GSX Server 3.0 Build 7592 on a Win2k3 Enterprise Server Host, Dual Intel Xeon, 8GB RAM.
