i got gsx 3.1 with 768mb or memory running under win2003. my problem is that sometimes even with over 300mb of ram available i am not allowed to start a virtual machine using 196mb or ram. sometimes it's even 400mb free and a vm with 256mb isn't working. i know i'm cutting it a bit close but is there a way to gain a bit more performance out of my machine?
so far i've turned off un-needed services and have allowed gsx to use most of the page file. i also put the page file on a different hard drive and have increased it to 1-2GB.
anything else i can do to get better performance, OTHER then buy more RAM... ??
