Hi All,
I installed the VM Server, no problem!
I installed the MUI Client, no problem!
I started the MUI client from my WinXP box and connected to the server, no problem!
So where is the problem you may ask?
well it is in the setup and actuall creation of the VM themselves.
My scenario is as follow:
My HOST OS is White Box Enterprise Linux 4.0 Respin-1, running on a Pentium 4 machine with 1GB of RAM.
I have a USB stick that I can mount or umount.
On this USB stick I have a boot menu that lists different OS images/kernels that allow me to start the install of the Linux distribution and continue the install using Install from HTTP.
Each VM should have it's own IP setup.
Currently on the HOST OS there is only ONE IP configured.
My question:
1. Should I add the additional IPs onto the HOST in advance?
2. How do I make the USB-DOK (DiskOnKey) show up in the remote MUI configuration? currently it can't find it even though I can mount or umount it and actually access the USB-DOK through the host os.
3. Specifically for Linux of CentOS which is from the RH family, but it isn't pure RH, do I chose the RH type of VM or 'other linux'?
Thanks for any pointers,
-Alon.
