GSX to ESX migration :S

I've been doing migrations from our other GSX servers - all version 3.x Now the last server is GSX version 2.5.1 build-5336[/b] and i need to migrate to ESX 2.5.1[/b]

I've been following the documentation for all the other GSX servers migrations - backup, convert IDE to SCSI, ensure right xxxlogic is installed and then migrate, convert into VMFS folder etc with no problems..

Now, how do i do the same in GSX v2.5.1 for splitting the vmdk files and ensuring that the first descriptor file is smaller than the rest? (in later versions i simply upgraded the virtual hardware which did this?)[/i]
