We had a windows host system whose hard drive crashed on us. We had to use recovery software to get the vm files off of the server. The server was rebuilt and we were able to get all of the files off of the crashed drive. The vm servers will all boot up, but if you try to take a snapshot of any of them, I get a 'VMDB failure' error box and then a 'dictionary problem' message after that. The log files confirm this.

Like I said the vm servers themselves actually boot up and work normally. We just can't make snapshots. Host is 2003 server, guests are a mix of 2003 and 2000 servers.
