Host: Centos 4.4 running Vmware Server, a single physical NIC
vm1: Centos 4.4 bridged
vm2: Centos 4.4 bridged
Host, vm1, and vm2 are set to dhcp from my ISP.
The MAC addresses and UUID are unique for the host, vm1 and vm2.
The host and the first vm1 successfully obtains an ip address but not the second vm2. If I boot vm2 first it obtains an ip address but then vm1 does not. If I set vm1 to bridged and vm2 to NAT they both work however I want both to be bridged.
I have tried reinstalling the vmware server, a number of different vm's and also ended up doing a fresh install of the OS but still with the same result.
Could it be a restriction from my ISP? I do get ip addresses for the host and the first vm I would believe it should not be the issue.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?
