Black screen on Virtual Machine console (remote)

All right folks, I've read about 12 other threads about this and nothing has worked to fix my problem.

Loaded VM console on my workstation (XP x64) and connect to GSX 3.2.1 on 2003 x64 host.

Try to open a Windows 2003 SP1 vm with tools installed, black screen.

If I connect via RDP to host and run VM Console it's fine.   

I have Full Control permissions on every file in the vm's directory (and the same for every other vm, for that matter.

I am a local adminsitrator on the Host

Color depth matches on workstation and remote vm

Uninstalled and reinstalled Tools.

I have workarounds, but need the solution.
