I'm running VMWare Server on a Suse 10.1 linux workstation. My motherboard was replaced yesterday and there is a new NIC with a new MAC address. Now my VMware guest OSs won't connect to the network. I get the following error:
"The network bridge on device /dev/vmnet0 is temporarily down because the bridged Ethernet interface is down. The virtual machine may not be able to communicate with the host or with other machines on your network."
I tried reinstalling VMWare Server and told the install to remove the old vmnet configuration and make a new one...which it did. But I still get that error.
Anyone know how to fix this problem?
Thanks,
Matt
