Hello, I have a Win2k server that was running VMWare GSX Server 3.1.0. The VMWare server had a FreeBSD 5.4 machine running inside of it. The windows server crashed due to hardware failure and we were forced reinstall. We were able to recover most of the hard drive including the FreeBSD-flat.vmdk file, but none of the other configuration files. Unfortunately, I was not the person who initially set up the VMWare configuration, and they are not available at the present to help.
I was hoping that someone could inform me how I might recover the virtual machine from having the FreeBSD-flat.vmdk file only.
