Guest OS can't detect bootable device

Hi all,

I'am using VMware Server Beta and create a VM with an image from a server (PowerQuest Drive Image). When I want to start the first time, the VM can't detect any bootable devices. My VMware-server has three SCSI-drives on an Adaptec controller. The OS is installaed on drive 0, the files for the VM are on drive 1. The original server is starting from "multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)", the VM from scsi 0:0 hard disk1.

Do anybody knows the error?
