Can someone clarify for me? I'm using Windows Server 2003 Standard as the host (with 2k3 Std guests, if that matters), and my virtual machines are on a volume that's a dynamic disk. I've read some people say using dynamic disks is bad. I'd like to do a software raid1 (a mirror), and the disks have to be set as dynamic to do this. I don't have the funds for a hardware raid solution but would really like to have some redundancy.
Or am I just plain off?
