I have a virtual Windows XP machine running on VMware Server with Ubuntu 6.06 as the guest. The virtual machine runs perfect.
I have alloted 8GB to the machine. However when it takes up 15GB on the disk. My virtual machine consists of the following files:
8.0K ./Standard XP.vmx
8.0K ./Standard XP.vmsd
2.1G ./Standard XP-f001.vmdk
2.1G ./Standard XP-f002.vmdk
2.1G ./Standard XP-f003.vmdk
2.1G ./Standard XP-f004.vmdk
1.1M ./Standard XP-f005.vmdk
8.0K ./Standard XP.vmdk
32K ./vmware.log
36K ./vmware-0.log
32K ./vmware-1.log
16K ./nvram
32K ./vmware-2.log
1.4G ./Standard XP-000002-s001.vmdk
1.4G ./Standard XP-000002-s002.vmdk
2.1G ./Standard XP-000002-s003.vmdk
1.4G ./Standard XP-000002-s004.vmdk
20K ./Standard XP-000002-s005.vmdk
8.0K ./Standard XP-000002.vmdk
15G .
Is there any way that I can reclaim some of my hardware space from this machine? Are there any files that I can delete?
