Slow guest network performance on GSX SuSE Enterprise 9 Host

I have two Fedore Core 4 clients in my GSX 3.2 server on SuSE Enterprise 9.  I also have a Windows 2003 SBS server.

Read a number of the posts regarding network throughput, have not finished installing Virtual Center yet, but I am getting ~ 100 KB/s transfer throughput to the virtual machines.  I noticed the performance while attemting to scp some source files form the host to the guest vm.

Transfers from the guest os, to other machines are 3-5 Mb/s.

Any suggestions on what the issue is?  I see the following vmnet processes.  My guest vms are configured for bridged and have static ip address on the same network.
