i'm using vmware-server beta3-build-23869 on windows.
on my machine, i also have linux installed.
my 4th partition, my data partition, has an ext3 filesystem and windows loads it just fine with an open-source driver for win-xp. i never had any problems with it, and use it frequently to make dvd9 backups (files with 8GB).
now my problem: vmware-server, when creating a disk for a virtual machine, refuses to make virtual disks over 2GB complaining that the filesystem doesnt suport large files!!!
