has anyone ever heard the host speaker making a continous wierd noise that comes back and goes away at random times however we can always make it go off by stopping vmware? We though a VM was causing it however stopping the VMs individually didn't always make the sound stop. Sometimes the sound stopped just by opening the vmware console. But for sure it has always stopped by telling the vmware init.d script to stop and it stops right away, I mean we hit enter and the sound stops.
We are using a 32bit linux host with 2.6.15 as the kernel I think.
