I am running GSX Server 3.2.1. I installed a SIIG PCI Parallel Card into the server. I have added a VM parallel port defintion to a virtual machine running Windows 2003. When I try and connect to this virtual parallel port I get the following error
"Cannot open VMparport driver for LPT3: Overlapped I/O operation is in progress. Failed to connect virtual device parallel0"
The Host server has the card installed properly, or at least it appears to have it installed properly. The virtual machine looks like everything is OK. I am using LPT3, not sure why my host picked this number for it's name since it is the only parallel port in the machine. I left it at LPT3.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can get this parallel port to connect?
