bridge connection broken

I installed vmware server 1.0.1-29996 on windows server 2000 SP4 (host), then I created virtual machine with windows 2000. Virtual machine is connected with network as Bridge connection. I have problem when I try copy large files (150MB) from host to virtual machine (copy operations made in vm machine), during copy file connection is usually broken. I tried to change connection speed of virtual network card  without result.   My host computer have 100 Mbit network card, I don’t know how to fix this problem.
