Hi!

I have a problem with my vmware-image. When I open Virtual Machine Settings and click on my Hard Disk in the list, I get the following error:

"Failed to retrieve disk information for "U52DM-000001.vmdk.

The parent of this virtual disk could not be opened"

My vmx-file:

config.version = "8"

virtualHW.version = "4"

scsi0.present = "TRUE"

scsi0.virtualDev = "lsilogic"

My vmsd-file:

Here is a complete list of the files in the folder:

Windows server 2003 standard edition.vmx

Windows server 2003 standard edition.vmsd

U52DM-000001.vmdk (10 GB)

U52DM.vmdk (6 GB)

nvram

vmware.log

vmware-0.log

vmware-1.log

vmware-2.log

The U52DM file does not seem to be used - it hasn't been modified the last 4 months. I'd like to delete this file if it's possible without messing up the image.

I'd be very grateful if anyone is able to help me out!

Thanks in advance!
