disable a virtual machine's paging file on host

Each VM creates a virtual memory file on the host called .vmem

Is there any way of disabling the creation of this file and forcing the VM to use "real" memory only?

I have a VM using sensitive data which must be lost if the host gets it´s power unplugged. If it exists as a file on the disk, there is a possibility that sensitive data can be retrieved.
