Has any body managed to merge multiple 2GB vmdk files into a single vmdk file as we are experiencing performance issues with a 100GB virtual machine exported from ESX to run on VMserver. Our 100GB disk has been spanned across over 49 separate files and we believe this could have a bearing on the performance issues experienced. Has anybody had a similar experience exporting large vmdk disks from ESX to run in VMserver? What did you do to improve system performance?
