Isolated network for guests on Linux host?

I am running Server 1.01 for Linux.

I want to run several guests that are able to communicate with each other via a virtual network. However, I need to ensure that the host (and the rest of the physical network) CAN NOT be seen by the guests.

(The reason for this is that the guests are clones \[P2V] of machines on the physical network.)

Is this possible and if so can someone guide me as to how to achieve it?

I tried to configure it via the vmware-config.pl, but I'm not sure how (or if) what I want is possible.
