Has anyone seen where you install the VMWare Tools, and the display driver will not install on a Windows NT 4.0 sp6a? I have tried all 3 installs (typical, complete, and customer) of vmware tools, along with attempting to install the actual driver that is on the physical machine, and each time after reboot, I am told that the display driver has failed to install, and I am returned to generic vga mode. Also my display settings will show 800x600, and if I click Apply or OK the VM blue screens. I have even tried installing the vmwaretools.msi manually and this also fails to correct the display driver.
Any help on this matter would be great.
I am on the latest version of GSX, on a Win 2003 OS.
I have run out of ideas on how I can make this work.
