How can I get debug logging information?

One of the first things that I did with my VMware Server Beta installed on Windows was to create a new VM using an existing Virtual Disk I had previously used with VMware Player.

It is a hard disk installation of Damn Small Linux 2.0 .

During boot up, it froze before starting the X-windows.

Since then I have installed DSL afresh on from an ISO that works without trouble.

The thing is that the one that froze also seemed to freeze VMware Server, rebooting Windows then froze, apparently unable to terminate InCD.

As I say, I can get a DSL to work, but I would like to debug the one that froze, as I do not particularly want my host freezing inexplicably.

I can see nothing much in the Windows Event logs.

What do I have to do in order to say turn up VMware Server logging so that I can get a clue as to what might be amiss?
