Need recommendations on Raid stripe size

Hi,

I'm trying to get a windows 2003 host to run as fast as it can. My attention has turned to the disk subsystem. I would like to hear the group's recommendations regarding RAID Stripe Size for the array containing the VMs.

\- What would you recommend? 8K, 16K, 32K 64K? or something else?

\- How about the cache mode? write-back or write-through?

\- What RAID level would you recomend for a 3 disk array; 1, 1E, 5?
