I downloaded and installed vmware server a few days ago. I set up one guest os server 2003 with bridged networking, after doing so my pc takes a ridiculously long time to boot up. It just sits there with desktop background and a mouse cursor for ever. then eventualy loads explorer and i get a startbar and my desktop icons. If i disable all of the vmware services using msconfig and reboot all is well but as soon as they are enabled, the problem is back. does anyone have any idea how to fix this it is rather anoying. my pc is runing xp pro sp2. the services that show up for vmware in the msconfig are
VMware Authorization Service
VMware Virtual Mount Manager Extended
VMware Registration Service
VMware NAT Service
VMware has also added 2 lan adapters to my pc for my configuration so there you have it if you can help please do. thank you
