hyperthreading on gsx-server host

I just noticed that vmware-mui on my gsx-server show's two cpu's, even though I have xeons with hyperthreading (4-cpu). I know I have a 2cpu license, but is vmware actually using "all" the cpu's, or should I disable hyperthreading to be sure I'm directing as much power as possible towards the virtuals? Performance is not especially good, which was causing me to think that it might actually not be using the processors to their full performance?

edit:

Or is vmware-mui smart enough to display only real cpu's?
