I just wanted to let everyone know, we finally got 4 WD Raptor 74GB drives 10K RPM SATA in and configured it as 0+1 and it frekin screams. It cut the time in half for boot up time on two VM's booting simultaneously. So we tested three VM's booting simultaneously and it still was faster than the old drives booting only 2 VM's.
So, If anyone has any questions as to what's the best drive to use for any Virtualization........here you go.
fyi, it was also faster than the SCSI III 10K drives in our older DL380 G3 HP Servers.
