Hi
I am trying to get vmware working with alsa sound. A moment ago i did have it working but now it doesn't work anymore. And the steps i took to get it working also don't work anymore.
Also a problem is that when i start the vmware console from my kde startmenu it seems to crash and when i terminate that window another console opens which is working ok.
For sound i already did run the script /usr/share/alsa-base/snddevices
It did work for a moment, but after a crash with win-xp as guest i am unable to get sound in vmware working again ....
Already tried with a reboot and with removing the ~/.vmware/ directory.
please help
