I have a big problem and I'm in panic (like linux kernel).
I have a HP Proliant ML 350 G4 with RHL 3 Ent. WS like host.
VMWare GSX 3.1.
I installed Windows 2003 Small Business Server as guest.
I configured the guest to "view" /dev/ttys0.
I have attached a USRobotics 56K Fax External to COM1 (serial 0).
In the guest OS, I install driver and manage modem without problem.
On the guest OS I configured the MS Shared Fax to use this modem on serial.
I can receive fax, but I can't send....
When I send a fax, the modem dial the number, connect with other device, transmitting for 20/30 seconds and after tell "The remote fax machine did not respond in time, and the call was terminated".
I have many installation of MS Shared Fax with this modem and I have not problems!
Can be a linux/vmware problem?
How can I do?
