I got an installation of the latest vmware server release on a Fedora5 host. Sytem has got P4 3.0Ghz multi threading cpu with 2Gb of ram.
I created three vm's. Two Fedora5 vm's and one w2k3 server. They are installed and waiting to be used (webserver only used by me, a mailserver and a application server. They not doing any work if they are not contacted by me. If I for example connect with RPD to the windows server, everything is so slow! And the same is for the Fedora machine. And they are not doing anything.
Checking the host using the "top" command shows that the cpu is constanly busy. Why is that? I don't understand it. To my opinion this performance is much to slow. If I run three servers on this fast machine then I already have experiene performance issues...
Anyone any ideas?
