Our central IT organization is working on an implementation of wired 802.1x that requires user authentication and restricts access to one host per switch port. This effectively means that my virtual boxes can't communicate out of the host NIC anymore.
So, I was wondering if it was possible to dedicate one physical NIC to each VM so that the VMs could each have a user independently authenticate to 802.1x.
