Copy and Paste Text (Windows Host to Linux Guest)

Hello,

I have the following:

Host: Windows XP Professional

Guest: Ubuntu Linux

I have the VMWare tools installed on the guest. I cannot copy and paste text to and from virtual machine. I made sure to check that under Edit -> Preferences -> Input, the "enable copy and paste to and from virtual machine" is checked.

Is this a bug?
